  2. Hello everyone! My first impression of Auggie is that he is very smart for his age. I think that the challenges that he has had to face in his life has made him become very aware of what happens around especially when it comes to how people act torward him. For example, Auggie was very upset when his mom had made plans for him to go to school but he also knew that she was right (pg. 9). I'm looking forward to learning more about our friend Auggie. I can't to hear about what everyone thinks!

  3. My first impression of August is shy yet confident in himself. August has come so far from when he had his 27 surgery because he has already made a new friend named jackwill. August is confident in himself because on ( pg 43 ) August speaks up to Ms. Petosa and looks up for the first time. I cant wait to hear more about Auggie and his second day of school!

  4. My first impression on Auggie was that he is a normal child. I felt/feel really bad for what he is going through. I also think that he is a very strong person and that people are way to hard on him. He is respectful and doesn't get mad easily. Even though I've already read this book a few times I'm exited to read on to refresh my memory!

  5. Ms. Durant I agree on what you said! I didn't even think about how you said how the challenges with his face make him aware about what happens to people with disabilaties and how they are treated. I also think you will love the book, I cant belive you haven't read it!
